Join the Effort to Count Young Children in the 2020 Census

    Young Children

The U.S. Census Bureau estimates that about 1 million children under the age of 5 were missed in the 2010 Census. That is why the Census Bureau has redoubled its efforts to count every child in 2020. It will host an event on February 22 at the Great Lakes Science Center in Cleveland, Ohio, to bring national attention to the importance of counting every child in the 2020 Census.

On the day of the event, we invite you to participate in a Twitter chat with early childhood experts from the Census Bureau and 2020 Census Partners who are engaged in the effort to improve the count of young children. Mark your calendar and learn more by following <@USCensusBureau>.
