• My favorite things sketch #443 / colorchallenge #120

    Hi there,

Today I'm combining another couple of challenges for a really simple card.

I'm using an image from the My favorite things Beary speacial birthday, but since the sketch has a big star in it, I thought I'd make it a Christmas card. You know, stretch your supplies! Lol!
I colored the image with Copics and fuzzy cut it out.

I taped the MFT Pierced star stax dies together and dry embossed the panel. Unfortunately I didn't think of adding embossing powder until after. But you know how sometimes mishaps turn out well after all? I added WOW! embossing ink to the dies and placed them back in the creases in the cardstock. I applied pressure to get the ink in there. Of course I would've gotten a much better impression if I had done this while dry embossing the cardstock. Here I ended up with embossing powder in sort of a distressed look, but I kind of like it. The sentiment is from MFT Joyous Christmas sentiments. Embossing powder is WOW! Red glitz.

    Copics used:
    Bear: W5, W3, W1, W0, E49, E44, R20, R01
    Present: R22, R32, R20, BV17, BV13, BV01

Thanks for stopping by, and happy crafting!

Unfortunately I was too late for the sketch challenge, but I'll show the sketch anyway.
